Behind the scenes of an operation targeting online scammers

More than 500 suspected fraudsters have been arrested as part of a major operation targeting the networks behind online scams.

BBC News was given rare access to Operation Seraphim and the Cyber Defence Alliance – a specialist team supported by major UK banks that works alongside police to identify and disrupt fraud at scale.

The BBC also speaks to Kirsty, who lost more than £80,000 to a romance scam, and to the man whose images were used without his knowledge to create the false identity.
