Battle for global hegemony between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping has expanded dramatically

Sky News contributor Kosha Gada says the battlefield for global hegemony between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping has expanded dramatically.

This comes amid Mr Trump’s visit to China for historic bilateral meetings.

“The world is watching President Trump’s trip to China this week as another chapter in the personal diplomacy between Trump and Xi Jinping,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.

“The real story is much bigger than two men shaking hands in Beijing, it’s about taking stock about everything that has changed in the world since Trump’s first trip as President to China in 2017.

“The battlefield for global hegemony has expanded dramatically.”
