Australia’s national security under threat from Islamic fundamentalist group Hizb ut-Tahrir

Sky News host Sharri Markson examines ASIO Director-General Mike Burgess’ warning about Australia’s national security concerning the operation of Islamic fundamentalist political organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir.

“ASIO Director-General Mike Burgess’ warning about the grave threats to our national security,” Ms Markson said.

“Burgess spoke about an extremist Islamist organisation operating in Australia, who don’t share our values and who want an Islamic caliphate.

“It’s time the authorities and law enforcement act to stop the influence of this insidious group, considered a terrorist organisation in many parts of the world.”
