Angus Taylor’s leadership questioned as voters lose faith in Liberals

Former NSW Police Minister David Elliot warns the Coalition’s stagnant polling reflects a deeper leadership crisis.

“They were looking for Josh Frydenberg’s name,” Mr Elliot told News24 host Jaimee Rogers.

“It’s quite clear that you can’t become Liberal prime minister with 30 per cent of people wanting you to be leader.

“The reason our polling isn’t moving is because they’re not inspired by the leadership.

“It just ain’t moving, and it hasn’t moved for months.”
