Albanese’s ‘melons’ humiliation still haunting Australia in Japan

News24 host Andrew Bolt reveals Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s controversial joke about Japan’s Prime Minister is still attracting fierce criticism, with reports it has not been forgotten overseas.

“We haven’t heard much reaction since, but you know the Japanese aren’t demonstrative in that way; they take quiet note.” Mr Bolt said.

“I was surprised to see a scathing piece in the Japan Times last week by a Japanese commentator.

“Suggesting … it’s certainly not forgotten and forgiven.”
