Albanese to meet Apple CEO in California to discuss eSafety and AI
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has landed in the US ahead of high-level talks with Apple Executive Chairman Tim Cook at the tech giant’s California headquarters.
The pair will discuss the company’s new parental controls for children, which the Australian Government claims was partially inspired by its under-16 social media ban.
Mr Albanese will lobby Mr Cook on other measures of his e-Safety and digital safety agenda.
The prime minister will also travel to New York for an appearance at next week’s UN General Assembly during the week-long trip.
