Albanese safely returns to The Lodge after security scare prompts evacuation

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has returned safely to The Lodge after a security scare prompted his evacuation at dinner time.

Federal police attended the Prime Minister’s residence at about 6pm on Tuesday evening, responding to an alleged security incident.

Mr Albanese spent three hours at another location while officers searched the property.
