Albanese downplays One Nation surge following preferred PM polling

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese weighs in on recent polling which shows One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson overtaking as preferred PM.

“We will continue to focus, absolutely,” Mr Albanese said.

“If you go back, some of you reported some things in February 2025. I encourage you to go and have a look and see how that stood up to the test of time when people had to make a decision about who was in the best position to actually provide effective government.”
