Albanese accused of snubbing Japan for Spotify event

News24 host Andrew Bolt claims Prime Minister Anthony Albanese insulted Japan by skipping a major diplomatic anniversary dinner to attend a Spotify event instead.

“Anthony Albanese has insulted Japan, and it’s the prime minister in two ways,” Mr Bolt said.

“Skipping a dinner at Parliament House to mark the 50th anniversary of the Australia and Japan friendship and cooperation treaty.

“We now know where he was; he was in another room in Parliament for a Spotify event.”
