A Disc-Less Future: Who is To Blame?

The disc-less future is controlling the conversation, and here’s the honest part nobody advocating for physical media wants to hear: you’re outnumbered. Convenience won a generation ago, whole demographics grew up never touching a disc, and the majority is trending digital no matter how hard every Sony post gets ratioed. How the convenience trade happened, why “no disc no buy” has to answer the only question that matters, whether education can actually move the next generation, and how I lead by example: Rippaverse prioritizes physical books, and our digital rollout is DRM-free and windowed weeks behind print. I’m a physical media advocate and a markets advocate at the same time, and this is what that honestly looks like.
