‘The future of the military’: Lieutenant General Susan Coyle to become Chief of Army

Sky News host Caleb Bond details how Lieutenant General Susan Coyle will become the new Chief of Army.

“Now we have some new military bosses today. The Chief of the Navy, Vice Admiral Mark Hammond, will become the new Chief of the Defence Force. Rear Admiral Matthew Buckley will replace him as Chief of the Navy. And the Chief of Joint Capabilities, Lieutenant General Susan Coyle, will become the new Chief of Army.” Mr Bond said.

“Now, they’re all well qualified, they’ve had distinguished military careers, and I wish them luck in their new roles. And I think the appointment of Lieutenant General Coyle shows where the future of the military is heading because her specialisation has been in cyber and information warfare, and that will increasingly be how wars are fought.”
