Albanese blames global oil prices for small business pressures

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese blames the impact of rising global oil prices for the pressures faced by small businesses in Australia.

“You can’t just dismiss something like global oil prices that rise up and have an impact on everything,” Mr Albanese said during Question Time on Monday.

“We are one of the few advanced economies that haven’t gone through a recession or a single quarter of economic contraction.”
