Former FBI agent demands hardline position on ‘horrible’ Putin

Former FBI supervisory special agent Ren McEachern urges leaders not to back down from a hardline stance against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Remember, Putin is the one that’s doing all these terrible things in Ukraine and beyond, and we have to keep a massive, continued campaign of sanctions and other ways to bring pressure to him,” Mr McEachern told News24 host James Morrow.

“Any idea that he is a humanitarian or good guy has to be dismissed and we need to keep a full-pressure campaign on this guy.”
