Midterms not driving Trump’s Iran war strategy

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker says the midterm elections are not “dictating” US President Donald Trump’s strategy on the war in Iran.

“Trump has said the midterm elections are not dictating his strategy here, and I think that’s true,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rowan Dean.

“If they were, he would have only cared about bringing down the cost of oil.

“But he is really concerned with winning this fight long term and getting rid of Iran as a threat to world peace.”
