Japan Airlines to trial humanoid robots to handle rising visitor numbers

Japan Airlines is trialling humanoid robots to handle rising visitor numbers and a drop in available workers.

The robots are being trialed as baggage handlers at Haneda Airport.

The stated aim is to lighten workers’ load due to record tourist numbers.
