US urged to ‘take victory and leave’ after strikes on Iran

Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker spoke on whether the US should pursue further action or withdraw following recent developments in Iran.

“There is no question that Trump is right, we have devastated Iran militarily, not only that, we’ve killed most of their leaders,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host James Morrow.

“Trump evidently wants something from what is left of Iran’s leadership. I assume he’s looking for transfer of nuclear materials and maybe some kind of commitment not to pursue nuclear weapons, and he may not be able to get that.

“If not, I think we should just take our military victory and go home.”
