‘Death to tyrants’ signs outside WH dinner as critics call for end to anti-Trump rhetoric

Sky News host James Macpherson reacts to the shooting that took place at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

“Right outside the correspondent’s dinner, there were lefties holding up signs that actually read ‘death to tyrants’,” Mr Macpherson said.

“The progressive left, whether news organisations, politicians or their supporters, have created an atmosphere where attacks on Trump keep happening.

“Maybe, just maybe, this will be the wake-up call the leftist media need to bring down the anti-Trump rhetoric.”
