Australian fuel crisis continues as US-Iran war enters seventh week
Sky News host Steve Price details how the Australian fuel crisis continues as the US-Iran war enters its seventh week.
“As the US-Israel war with Iran enters its seventh week … and with weekend peace talks in Pakistan lasting 21 hours without agreement, the Australian government and presumably some bright spark in probably Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s office decides what we all need is a lesson on how to conserve petrol,” Mr Price said.
“With diesel prices still well over three dollars a litre and no sign of the Straits of Hormuz getting back to normal, the government has spent your money, $20 million, on a not very slick ad to be shown on TV and on billboards with the tag line: Every little bit helps.”
