Recently there has been some level of Meta-commentary about how people need to keep their commentary, more specifically about controversial things in pop-culture, to themselves – with even an older quote from Andy Weir of Poject Hail Mary fame resurfacing. The most recent to do so however, was Paul Feig, formerly of Ghostbusters fame, and what he had to say was particularly self serving, using Sydney Sweeney to deflect from the impact he might have contributed to in the decline of Star Wars, Star Trek and more.
