Iran and US agree conditional two-week ceasefire | BBC News
US President Donald Trump has announced a two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran, on the condition that shipping is allowed through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran will agree to the end in fighting “if attacks against Iran are halted” and if their 10-point ceasefire plan is adhered to.
Pakistan, which has been acting as a mediator, invited both sides to talks in Islamabad on Friday, while UK PM Keir Starmer is travelling to the Gulf to discuss support for the ceasefire.
