California governor debate cancelled over all-white candidate lineup

Filmmaker Ami Horowitz blasts the University of Southern California for cancelling a planned California gubernatorial debate because all the candidates were white.

“This is absolutely extraordinary … it turns out that the top candidates were all white and that is not acceptable in California,” Mr Horowitz told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“What, you can’t have all white candidates? I don’t care if that’s the criteria that we allow, this can’t be.”
