‘We never asked for a ceasefire’: Iranian foreign minister
Sixteen days into the war, Iran says it has no reason to negotiate with the United States as US and Israeli strikes continue across the country.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran has not sought a ceasefire and is planning on continuing the war.
“We have never asked for a ceasefire, and we have never asked even for negotiation, we are ready to defend ourselves as long as it takes,” Mr Araghchi said.
