‘Last straw’: Mamdani blasted after proposed 10 per cent property tax hike

Sky News contributor Kosha Gada blasts New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani for proposing a near 10 per cent property tax hike.

“This is the only tax category that he has unilateral authority as mayor of New York City to hike property taxes,” Ms Gada told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“This is the last straw or the last resort, I think is how he termed it.

“The costs go up and up, and then they try to tax more.

“As we know, what’s going to keep doing is New Yorkers eventually leave.”
