Top Russian army general shot in Moscow

A top Russian intelligence general has been shot in Moscow.

Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev was taken to the hospital after the attack in an apartment building.

The Kremlin is treating the incident as an assassination attempt orchestrated by Kyiv.
