‘Electoral suicide’: Coalition split threatens joint Senate ticket in Vic and NSW

Former Victorian Liberal Party president Michael Kroger claims it would be “electoral suicide” for the Nationals and Liberals to continue without a Coalition.

“It’s imperative for the centre right in Australian politics to have a Coalition. It would be electoral suicide,” Mr Kroger told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“If you don’t have a Coalition, then there’s no reason for a joint Senate ticket in Victoria and New South Wales.”
