It’s been a few days since Elon Musk accused Chris Nolan of having lost integrity over the colorblind casting of Lupita Lyong’o as Helen of Troy in the upcoming The Odyssey, and the response to that has been surprisingly … muted. That would be because Hollywood may already be moving away from inauthentic diversity as seen in Disney’s Snow White, Amazon’s The Lord of The Rings The Rings of Power, Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who and many more – and the BBC just commissioned a report to justify them moving away from such colorblind casting.
