Tim Walz ridiculed for backing failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris in 2028 race

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been clowned online for suggesting that former vice president Kamala Harris would be a “wonderful” candidate for president in 2028.

This comes after Kamala Harris’ failed presidential run in 2024 against Donald Trump.

Republican strategist Mehek Cooke says Kamala Harris has not added “anything new” to the Democratic Party.

US President Donald Trump has stood by a derogatory slur he made about Tim Walz in a social media post.

In the president’s long post, he labelled Governor Walz as “seriously retarded”, as well as blasting Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Joe Biden’s migration policies.

Speaking on Air Force One, Trump said the Minnesota Governor’s policy on refugees from Somalia was the reason for his criticism.
