Christians ‘can not celebrate’ their faith in Algeria

EWTN Broadcaster Colm Flynn says there is no “direct persecution” for Christians and the Catholic Church to practice in Algeria; however, there is the “constant presence, the constant watching, and limitations”.

In Algeria, you cannot celebrate your faith if you’re a Christian, if you are a Muslim, yes, no problem,” Mr Flynn told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“The Bishop said … do not preach the Gospel with your words, do it with your life.”
