‘Abused his power’: Russell Brand’s spectacular fall from fame

The Mark Dolan Show host Mark Dolan says Russell Brand’s conviction marks the downfall of a celebrity who abused his fame and influence.

“He’s [Russell Brand] going to spend the best part of a decade of his life in jail now, and rightly so, because this is a guy that abused his power,” Mr Dolan told News24 host Paul Murray.

“He’s a strange, strange guy.

“He was obsessed with three things: fame, money, and sex, and he got all three, but the latter was his undoing.”
