U.S. Secretary of Education Linda E. McMahon joins Young America’s Foundation at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, California, for a special Wendy P. McCaw Reagan Ranch Roundtable discussion, moderated by conservative commentator Elisha Krauss.

In this conversation, Secretary McMahon discusses “Returning Education to the States,” including the administration’s efforts to shift greater authority over education back to states and local communities, expand educational opportunities for families, and rethink the federal government’s role in American education.

Linda E. McMahon was sworn in as the 13th United States Secretary of Education on March 3, 2025. Before leading the Department of Education, McMahon served as Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019 and previously served on the Connecticut State Board of Education. She is also widely known for her business career as CEO of WWE, which she helped grow from a regional company into a global enterprise.

Moderating the conversation is Elisha Krauss, a conservative commentator, writer, podcaster, and longtime YAF speaker. Krauss has worked across radio, digital media, and political commentary, including as a former co-host and contributor at The Daily Wire and producer of The Sean Hannity Radio Show. She currently hosts The Washington Examiner Newsmaker Series.
