‘Historic mistake’: Zelensky criticises Trump’s Russian shift

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned it would be a “historic mistake” for the United States to stand beside Russia.

Ukraine’s president criticised US President Donald Trump’s decision to waive new sanctions and allow Russian diesel back onto global markets.

Mr Zelensky says he will still view Mr Trump as an ally but warns the policy could strengthen Moscow.
