Marvel’s Zodiac: Is S.H.I.E.L.D. Coming Back?
Marvel’s Zodiac may be hiding the future of S.H.I.E.L.D. in plain sight. Following Brad Winderbaum’s announcement at New York Comic Con, Marvel’s mysterious new Disney+ spy thriller is already raising questions about secret organizations, familiar characters, and the MCU’s next chapter.
The biggest clues might be hiding in the Zodiac logo itself. From the S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem to a mysterious 12-part wheel with three missing sections, the imagery suggests a possible connection to Jonathan Hickman’s Great Wheel, a secret society operating behind S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra in Marvel Comics.
Could Zodiac bring back Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. characters like Phil Coulson? Does the Agent Carter One-Shot contain an overlooked connection to the new series? And could Avengers: Secret Wars create the perfect opportunity for Marvel to rebuild its legendary intelligence organization?
We explore the Zodiac comic book origins, the significance of the missing zodiac signs, and why this 2028 Disney+ series could become one of Marvel’s most important television projects.
With questions surrounding the future of Marvel Television following developments involving Wonder Man and Daredevil: Born Again, Zodiac has an opportunity to deliver something the MCU has been missing: a grounded espionage thriller built around secrets, betrayals, and the people controlling everything from the shadows.
Designed with impeccable detail, this new Secretlab partnership is a loving homage to Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The Secretlab TITAN Evo Marvel Spider-Man Edition is a must-have centerpiece for every Spider-Man fan’s setup.
