Livestreaming Fort Hood shooter’s execution slammed as ‘weakness, not strength’

Independent Women’s Forum senior fellow Qanta Ahmed criticised the planned livestream of Nidal Hasan’s execution, saying it fails to project strength and undermines important values.

“Those that were murdered and those that were wounded should be allowed to see it, but I don’t think it projects strength,” Ms Ahmed told News24.

“I mean, Nadal Hussein is… a paraplegic in a wheelchair. It does not portray strength.

“Strength comes from defending our values, defending our institutions, and separating, as you’re describing, radical Islam, which has no place in our society in any capacity.”
