Britain’s prime minister has said that his government believes an incident last weekend, at an airbase used by US heavy bombers, was linked to Iran.

Andy Burnham told the BBC there were “strong indications” that Iran had played a part in what happened at Fairford air base, but that it was an “ongoing, complex and serious”.
