Rita Panahi respects Ed Sheeran attempting to ‘remain apolitical’

News24 host Rita Panahi says she respects the fact that Ed Sheeran is trying to “remain apolitical” in the face of the music industry hounding him.

“I do respect the fact that he’s trying to remain apolitical,” Ms Panahi said.

“So, he’s not coming out making bold statements about Israel or anything else.

“He’s just saying I want everyone at my concerts to feel welcome.”
