‘Just poured them in without thinking’: Littleproud calls for restored integrity in visa system

​Nationals MP David Littleproud calls for restored “integrity” in Australia’s visa system.

​“It’s great to have a headline of 750,000 plus that we’d send home,” Mr Littleproud told News24.

“But what are they actually doing in the economy now?

​“If you strip them out, you strip away productivity.

​“This is where the opportunity with immigration comes in, as you can be fluid and flexible with it to actually fit our needs, and that’s what we haven’t had.

​“We’ve just poured them in without thinking about who we’re bringing in.”
