Norway’s Princess Astrid dies aged 94

Norway’s Princess Astrid has died at the age of 94, two days after attending the funeral of her younger brother, King Harald.

The royal palace says she died at a state residence outside Oslo.

Princess Astrid carried out royal duties for many decades and stepped in as Norway’s first lady after the death of her mother.
