Israel recognised for doing the Western world’s ‘dirty work’

​Former Israeli ambassador to the UK Mark Regev says Israel has been doing the Western world’s “dirty work”.

​“Iran with a nuclear weapon doesn’t just threaten Israel; it doesn’t just threaten Iran’s Arab neighbours; Iran with a nuclear weapon threatens the world,” Mr Regev told News24 host Chris Kenny.

​“We’re defending ourselves, we’re looking after our own interests, but in doing so I firmly believe that we’re standing up for the whole Western world against these terrible, extremist dictatorships like the Iranian government.

​“Iran with nuclear weapons is not just a problem for Israel; it’s a problem for the world, it’s a problem for Australia too.”
