‘We’re fighting for our country’: Donald Trump ‘turning the tables’ against ‘egregious’ Canada

US President Donald Trump claims America is “turning the tables” against Canada amid a trade war between the two countries.

“Canada’s been ripping off the United States for many, many years, for decades, many decades. We lost anywhere from $60-100 billion with Canada,” he said.

“We’re fighting for our country. Canada has taken advantage of us; they have ripped us off for years, and now we’re turning the tables, very easily turning the tables.”
