Gold Coast film industry lands $50 million funding boost

The Gold Coast film industry is set to receive a $50 million funding boost from the Queensland government.

The funding, to be announced on Saturday, will support Screen Queensland and help secure the state’s film industry for years to come.

The arts minister says it will create more consistent jobs across the sector while attracting major local and international productions to Queensland.
