Trump announces temporary pause of beef tariffs

US President Donald Trump is pausing beef tariffs to allow 300,000 tonnes of ground beef to enter the US tariff-free.

“We have a commitment that this beef will be sold at 25 per cent below current market prices,” Mr Trump said.

This deal will reduce prices for Americans while giving space for our Great American Beef Herd to grow again.”
