SpaceX recovers Starship rocket near Christmas Island

ANU Astrophysicist and Cosmologist Brad Tucker says a SpaceX rocket has been recovered after splashing down in the Indian Ocean off Christmas Island.

“The Starship, the part that we have seen and has been recovered, hasn’t attempted a landing yet,” Mr Tucker told News24.

“Past ones essentially sank into the ocean or ended as debris. This one came down so well intact.”
