Jon Stewart: Lanterns Is Setting Up DCU’s Future. Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler are being marketed side by side, but DC may already be telling us which Green Lantern is meant to carry this franchise forward.
The key could be Hal Jordan himself. Lanterns positions Chandler’s veteran hero opposite Pierre’s trainee, creating what initially looks like a classic mentor-and-student partnership.
