Reacher Season 4: The Action Is Better Than Ever. Prime Video’s action thriller returns with eight episodes of brutal fights, ambitious stunts, and some of the most inventive set pieces Jack Reacher has faced yet.
In our Reacher Season 4 review, we break down how the series improves its action without abandoning the formula that made it a hit. From outrageous encounters in a bowling alley, library, and stairwell to driving stunts, aerial sequences, and a greater emphasis on blades, Season 4 finds new ways to unleash Alan Ritchson’s imposing hero.
But the new season isn’t flawless. Its mystery-heavy opening introduces shady agencies, mercenaries, hidden enemies, and unclear motivations before finally revealing the bigger picture. That makes the second half considerably stronger, while some exposition-heavy stretches slow the momentum.
Fortunately, Reacher Season 4 also delivers another strong ensemble. Sydelle Noel stands out as Detective Tamara Green, while Christopher Rodriguez Marquette, Kevin Weisman, and Kevin Corrigan bring distinctive personalities to Reacher’s latest case.
Most importantly, Season 4 allows Jack Reacher to make mistakes. Seeing those missteps actually affect him gives Ritchson an opportunity to reveal another layer of the character.
It may not be Reacher’s best season, but its biggest strengths have never looked better.
