‘Imbecile attacks teen girls’: TV host blasts Seattle Storms co-owner’s XXXY shirt tantrum

News24 host Rita Panahi discussed a video showing Seattle Storms co-owner Celeste Keaton confronting two teenage girls for wearing XXXY t-shirts in support of protecting women’s sport.

“Take the trash out, he says, take yourself out, sir; imagine what sort of imbecile would attack a teenage girl,” Ms Panahi said.

“The fact that the crowd joined in the abuse instead of defending the girls tells you everything you need to know about the WNBA at the moment.

“Instead of standing up for women, including Sophie Cunningham, they are saying diabolically dumb stuff like this.”
