There has never been a Black-owned major broadcast network. There is no Black-owned major film studio. Nearly every Black-led company in Hollywood runs on a production deal, which means the conglomerate owns the show. And the smartest structure anybody ever negotiated, Milestone Media keeping copyrights while DC published in 1993, still ended in IP conflicts and stalled movies thirty years later.
