Russia reaches ‘appalling’ new low chasing ‘non-combatant grocer’ with a drone

An attack on a Ukrainian vegetable grocer has sparked outrage at Russia for its “appalling” wartime tactics.

News24 defence analyst Peter Jennings said the tactic used is particularly “appalling” and thinks “all countries that believe in supporting the laws of warfare should be complaining to the Russians”.

“The Russian military themselves are despairing. They have been fought to a standstill over the last 12 months or so,” he told News24 host James Macpherson.

“When you’re down to chasing clearly non-combatant grocers you’ve kind of given up on purposeful military tactics.”
