It is the 60th anniversary of Star Trek, and to this end, six decades of Star trek was celebrated, Strange new worlds and Academy were both promoted despite already being cancelled, and then there was nothing. Nothing on the future, and more projects announced from either Alex Kurtzman or JJ Abrams – and that is telling, not necessarily of the future, but of a deadlock behind the scenes. Let’s explore it.
