China’s Xi Jinping hosts Premier of North Korea

​China’s President Xi Jinping has hosted North Korea’s Premier Pak Thae Song.

​According to Chinese state media, the pair agreed to maintain strategic resolve in a tense global environment.

​Both sides also agreed to expedite agreements reached during Mr Xi’s last meeting with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, which involved expanding political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
