Work underway to remove Trump’s name from Kennedy Centre
Work is underway to remove US President Donald Trump’s name from the outside of the Kennedy Centre in Washington, DC.
An appeals court in Washington, DC, rejected a last-ditch effort by the Kennedy Centre’s leadership to keep President Trump’s name on the building.
Last month, a US District Judge ruled the centre cannot be renamed without an act of Congress.
The judge ordered the Trump administration to remove all physical signage with Trump’s name and eliminate any ‘Trump Kennedy Centre’ references from official materials within 14 days.
